lpv:translated text	"We all know that the European Union’s common agricultural policy is a very complex and sensitive issue. The continuing application of the so-called historical principle in respect of support for agriculture even after the expansion of the EU has brought considerable disproportion to European economic policy. It is therefore necessary to introduce objectively fair criteria to the system of sharing out financial support for farmers as soon as possible, as this will create the right conditions for proper economic competition between farmers on the single European market. The funding must be shared out properly and in a balanced way, so that farmers in all countries of the EU have the right to equal levels of support and may compete against each other fairly. In my opinion, we should therefore support Amendment 6 of the submitted report, which will help to bring justice to the support mechanism for European agricultural production."@en1
