lpv:spoken text	"While I was happy to vote on group lines for the majority of the report, I was unable to support amendment number 76 regarding GM labelling of animal products derived from animals fed on GM feed. The reason I could not support this amendment was because the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has carried out extensive research in this area and concluded that labelling in this case is not warranted. Such labelling would have a negative impact on European farming, which would be under pressure to produce and buy more expensive non-GM feed. More consultation is needed on this issue before we take such an important step."@en1
