lpv:translated text	"Mr President, I would like to speak about the use of nanomaterials in foods as there is a great deal of uncertainty among citizens about this. Even the European Food Safety Authority warns that the latest scientific findings are unable to provide any satisfactory information about significant effects from nanomaterials in food, especially about how they behave in the human body. Consequently, nanomaterials should not be permitted in foods, under any circumstances, until appropriate risk assessment test procedures are available in order to guarantee food safety beyond doubt. I, too, would like to express my admiration and thanks to the rapporteur."@en1
