Here, Parliament has been given responsibility; here, Parliament has assumed responsibility, and here, Parliament has also demonstrated responsibility. Secondly, this is a great political success for Parliament, vis-à-vis the Americans, vis-à-vis the Council and vis-à-vis the Commission. Thirdly, this is a great success in terms of content, since this agreement has, on Parliament’s initiative, brought about our own TFTP installation, which we need if we are to make progress here in Europe. We have not achieved everything, but a great deal has been set in motion, thanks to the good cooperation of the Commission and the Council – the Council has been very active – and between the groups in Parliament.
