Following the results of recent assessments carried out in these countries, we cannot justify continuing to maintain the current obstacles to the movement of EU citizens on its own territory. The Council should take the decision to do away with the borders as swiftly as possible to end the discrimination that the people from these Member States continue to endure."@en1
