This new labelling is very pertinent to consumers because it allows them access to better information so that they can make fully informed choices and recognise their impact in matters concerning energy efficiency. This means raising consumers’ awareness of the energy-related consequences of their choice whenever they look to buy any consumer item which has a bearing on energy efficiency.
