A ‘digital agenda’ is increasingly important and unavoidable in our society. Technological developments, especially in terms of making information, content and knowledge available online, have been extremely swift, and in little more than a decade the ‘digital’ landscape has changed drastically, with mass access to the Internet and mobile communications. It is, therefore, important to look to the future and define a strategy for the digital agenda, setting concrete goals and paying particular attention to issues relating to the rights of consumers to privacy and to personal data, as well as copyright and the fight against Internet piracy."@en1
