In Lithuania, the economic and financial crisis has affected many different sectors and many people have been left without work and a source of livelihood. The EGF’s rules on the allocation of funds were simplified, taking into account the complex situation in the labour market and the growing number of unemployed. Therefore, Lithuania must exploit all possible opportunities to obtain the funds requested, in order to help unemployed people as much as possible.
