On the other hand, I share the sentiments of those who have taken the floor today and called for the regulations which will be used as the basis for implementing the citizens’ initiative to be simple, accessible, easy to understand and involve as little red tape as possible. This is the only way that the citizens’ initiative will actually manage to become a proper instrument available to Europeans, which they can use to make their voice heard.
