It gives a clear signal to the Council and the Commission to take our recommendations seriously, which should ensure that this useful instrument for citizens and entrepreneurs is better exploited. All that is required is for entrepreneurs and citizens actually to know about this instrument. I would like to believe that next year, the Commission will present Parliament with a fully-fledged annual report where the public will learn about complaints concerning the denial of rights that are otherwise supposed to be guaranteed by European legislation."@en1
