The Union needs to speak with one voice and act jointly following Copenhagen, no matter what the scope of the outcome of the conference. We must aim for an actual 30% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions. When I say ‘actual’, this means that it will eventually be necessary, one day, to raise the issue of derogations and emissions trading.
