"We refuse to validate the visa waiver requested for Serbia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Albania, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
We are rejecting this report because we do not accept having the
recognition of Kosovo as a state imposed on us.
Spain, Cyprus, Greece, Romania, Slovakia and Bulgaria are fiercely opposed to this. Thus, there is still no EU common position on this subject. However, the starting up of visa liberalisation negotiations with Kosovo, as requested in the report, presupposes the recognition of the creation of the state of Kosovo. This goes completely against respect for international law."@en1
