"I voted in favour of the resolution, and strongly support calls to prevent media monopolies operating in Europe. Freedom of information is a hugely important issue, and given the strength of feeling and close vote, I hope it is an issue we will return to. I was disappointed that after the amendments were rejected, we were unable to pass the final resolution."@en1
