lpv:spoken text	"Mr President, my country, Lithuania, is very similar to Ireland in many ways and the yes of its people for the Lisbon Treaty has clearly demonstrated the will of all our citizens for a stronger and more effective Europe. It has clearly shown that we are unable to act on our own in times of crisis and to ensure prosperity for our people. More than ever, the Community must speak with one voice, and solidarity among the Member States is the basis for that. Europe is undergoing difficult times, and the reforms proposed by the Lisbon Treaty will give an impetus for a more effective institutional structure which will undoubtedly lead to more coherent policies in many areas. It is indeed a great achievement, both for Europe and for every one of us. Once again I congratulate the Irish people for their determination to have a better and more prosperous Union."@en1
