This integration, however, should be an instrument for delivering benefits not a measure that could be restrictive, and this element needs to be carefully monitored. Urban cohesion is essential in delivering sustainable economic and social progress. In that regard I would highlight the role of transport and the provision of modern transport infrastructure as essential in delivering cohesion policy in the urban areas."@en1
