lpv:spoken text	"Whilst I agree with taxation on tobacco, and a minimum tax across Europe, I abstained because of the damage it could do to the British tax on tobacco. The Government enjoys freedom to increase taxation on tobacco, which can be an incentive for people to reduce and quit smoking, improving our health and decreasing the stress on the NHS. This report would have compromised and constrained the Government’s ability to tax tobacco, which is why I abstained."@en1
