The Group of the European People’s Party (Christian Democrats) and European Democrats supports this report. However, we would like to draw attention to some problems in this area for which we need new solutions: European citizens’ knowledge of their rights in cross-border proceedings, and the knowledge which practitioners of the law and judges have, which is extremely vague. I hope that these issues which are causing Parliament concern will feature more prominently on the future agenda of the Commission and the Council."@en1
