Our intention is to prevent any distortion of competition. In any case, intervention of any kind should serve only to address the needs of citizens, without upsetting the internal market and without breaching competition but only, I repeat, with the aim of giving people who live in areas that are disadvantaged – above all in the winter months – the opportunity to be citizens like everyone else.
