lpv:translated text	". We Swedish social Democrats voted in favour of Mr Buzek’s report on the European Strategic Energy Technology Plan. We take a positive view of CO capture and storage but question whether it is necessary to support such things as coal to gas conversion for the further development of that technology. We also take a positive view of research into and the development of new sources of energy with low or zero CO emissions. We are in favour of the Union cofinancing this research, but do not think that we should pre-empt the budgetary process by calling on the Commission at this stage to set aside particular sums. We have therefore chosen to abstain on these two points."@en1
