There have not yet been any talks in the Council so I cannot respond on behalf of the European Union. What I would say, however, is that, as far as the Presidency is concerned, these guidelines are important. This issue falls within the framework for strengthening the European Union’s social dimension and is thus one of the tasks to which it is particularly devoted. We will make every effort to reach a consensus, we will also be pragmatic and we will take the results that we can achieve as quickly as possible.
