"Mr President, I would like to answer the two or three questions that have been addressed directly to me. Firstly, that of Mr Salafranca Sánchez-Neyra. Mr Salafranca Sánchez-Neyra, I will say yes to the two questions that you have asked me, but allow me to say that first of all we are going to see if the Treaty is adopted. Issues based on the ratification of the Treaty will have to wait and the agreements will probably have to come later. Mrs Záborská, we are looking into this matter. Since Mrs Záborská is not here, I will save my answer until later. At the Agency we are working very hard on interoperability: that is something that you asked about, and the answer is ‘yes’. As regards the other questions, I answered them when I spoke earlier. I have taken careful note of all the speeches and I hope that, as time goes by – as we approach the moment of truth – after the ratification of the Treaty, we will be able together to put into practice some of the ideas that have been suggested here. Before they speak, I would again like to congratulate the two rapporteurs, as I said publicly before. Finally, I would like to say that I agree completely with what Commissioner Verheugen said in his last speech, and I will not add any more to that."@en1
