lpv:translated text	"Mr President, as regards the report on the increase in food prices in the European Union, I voted in favour of amendment 21 and against amendment 28. Unfortunately, the voting machine did not react at that point. I would, however, like to draw attention to the fact that, in a Europe where children are going hungry, it is unacceptable to have production limits and quotas on food production and I would ask the European Commission to consider this issue again. During the parliamentary work there is a report prepared by Mrs Zimmer on poverty in Europe, particularly as regards child poverty, including malnutrition among European children.
