lpv:translated text	"We greatly sympathise with this motion for a resolution but some of the content involves matters which do not concern this Parliament, but should instead be the responsibility of the Member States and possibly the Council of Foreign Affairs Ministers. As always, irrelevant amendments were tabled by different groups on various important matters of principle, such as whether the MRTA should be included in the EU’s list of terrorist organisations, and on attempts to implement a peace process in Colombia. These are important issues, but they are of such importance that they must not be decided by the European Parliament but by the competent decision-makers in the Member States.
