This text condemns the recent repression in Tibet and follows on from this Parliament’s previous resolutions calling on both parties to engage in dialogue. We also call on the Chinese Government and the supporters of the Dalai Lama to end all violence. The Chinese Government must not misuse the 2008 Olympic Games by arresting dissidents, journalists and human rights activists.
