Why is this? For 60 years we in Europe did not try to solve their problem, nor did we have any reason to do so. Today a similar situation is emerging, and I am glad that I have been given the floor now, one day after the declaration of Kosovo’s independence. You know that something untoward may well happen there again. What if tomorrow the Serbs of Mitrovica put on a show of resistance or, if you prefer, disaffection? Shall we call them terrorists? We must examine the reasons for the emergence of terrorists who are willing to attack our European system, which does not support them."@en1
