The Kyoto Protocol excluded aviation and while most of the nations of the world do not recognise the Kyoto agreements the European Union now wants to do more than is required under the Protocol. This idealism is all very well from an intellectual point of view but it will not save the planet, which in any case is not in real danger as such. However, Europe is in the act of sacrificing all its industries, including aviation, without any significant impact on the climate. I must protest."@en1
