lpv:translated text	"Mr President, ladies and gentlemen, we specifically state in this resolution that EUFOR is to be considered as a bridging force with a temporary mandate, to be replaced by a successor mission. The letter of 21 September from the Government of Chad does not, however, make it clear whether the Government will give its consent to that. Hence the following supplementary amendment to paragraph 3(h): ‘a clear commitment by the government of Chad prior to the start of the EUFOR deployment is needed to accept the assessment of the international community with regard to the necessity of a successor mission.’ The text then continues."@en1
