On behalf of my group, I recognise and welcome the fact that for the first time in the urgency debates we have enjoyed the involvement and contribution of the Council. I hope that this positive precedent will continue. It is extremely welcome and I know that the German delegation in particular has worked hard to ensure that it would happen.
