"Question No 46 by Antonis Samaras ()
The Bologna process and the protocol signed at Bergen, Norway, concerning the recognition of degrees awarded for studies at European universities provided that the Member States should draw up a ‘list’ of the universities whose degrees are not recognised without other procedures. These lists have not yet been drawn up, which has resulted in a large number of petitions to the European Parliament, and citizens are concerned about the future of their children. Will the Commission say what provision is being made at Community level and what measures the Member States should take to comply with European Union requirements? Does the Commission intend to propose further measures on this subject?"@en1
