My answer is a definite ‘yes’. The Commission considers the SMEs to be a special group which is to be supported as it provides a large number of jobs. According to my judgement, the common consolidated corporate tax base will give a special advantage to the SMEs, which are in a less favourable position than the multinationals. So, if there is one group which will profit from the common consolidated tax base, it will be the SMEs."@en1
