".
I would like to thank all colleagues who have today voted for my report. The overwhelming support for Regional Advisory Councils (RACs) sends a clear signal to the European Commission that these organisations require funding after the transitional period. RACs allow local stakeholders to have a voice in decision making which affects their local interests. We must now call on the Commission to come forward with clear proposals to help RACs."@en1
