We need not even go into the detail of the matter, because anyone who calls himself a democrat must in the first place hold dear the right of free expression of opinion on the part of all those with whom they disagree. This House has a habit of upholding parliamentary immunity; that Mr Gollnisch’s is now being lifted is something I find frightening.
