Mr President, the aim of my amendment is to clarify and improve the text. In my opinion, it is crucial that Parliament and the European Union should recognise the right of women in developing countries and in Islamic countries, for example Saudi Arabia, to participate fully in all sporting activities. I hope that the male Members in the Chamber today, as well as the female Members, will vote in favour of my amendment."@en1
