Only last week, Israel broke off diplomatic ties with the Palestinian Authority after three young settlers were killed; these are the real politics of that region and are the things that we must concentrate on.
What I ask, in specific terms, is how does the Commission plan to bring Israel and the Palestinian Authority back to the negotiating table, and ensure that those early feelings of optimism are not entirely wasted?"@en1
