I'm delighted to see that the Parliament continues to back the ERASMUS exchange programme, which is I believe one of the most vital ways the EU can demonstrate relevance to the people of Europe. I believe that this budget, almost uniquely amonst other budget lines, should be increased, at the expense of others if need be, and voted accordingly. I took advantage of the ERASMUS programme myself as a student, and strongly believe it to be the most useful, long term, EU programme of all."@en1
