I voted in favour of this report, which I hope will continue, and extend, the opportunities which are available for all age-groups to take part in trans-national education programmes. Many Scots have participated in EU programmes over the years, and it is important to build upon successful schemes. In particular I welcome proposals to simplify procedures, and to decentralise administration. I note and welcome the fact that amendments from my group led to the inclusion of lesser-used languages, as well as inter-cultural dialogue."@en1
