lpv:translated text	"Mr President, I thank my fellow Members who have stayed to listen to my explanation of vote on the report on the urban dimension. I address the 20 million pensioners – former workers, hence pensioners – living in Italy, as well as the 150 million pensioners who have worked in Europe and who live in all 25 Member States of the European Union. I wish to reassure them of my intention to insist – through this explanation of vote – that the European Parliament call on the Member States to make travel on urban public transport completely free for pensioners, who deserve society’s recognition for the work they have done. In addition to giving up their seats, young people will be delighted to know that pensioners are being shown respect through the right to travel on public transport for free through our beautiful cities."@en1
