"Mr President, I would like to speak about the organisation of the agenda simply in order to draw your attention to our method of working. I regret that a legislative text of absolutely crucial importance to the funding of our economy – which is, I repeat, a legislative text – should be included in today’s agenda only as from 7.30 p.m. I believe that it should have been scheduled for another day and another time. I understand the importance of these moments to pause for breath and to conduct political debates, but I believe that it is also important for our Parliament to treat its legislative work in a reasonable fashion."@en1
