We believe that a decision should be taken as soon as possible within the EU whereby tobacco producers should, without delay, operate in a free market and adjust to the situation. It is also incredibly inconsistent that, on the one hand, tobacco cultivation is subsidised in the EU and, at the same time, efforts are made to implement health promotion measures and campaigns.
