lpv:spoken text	". I welcome this report on the communication from the Commission on stimulating technologies for sustainable development - an environmental technologies action plan for the EU. I see it as a useful basis for discussion and development of more concrete proposals on how to boost environmental technologies but would like to see more emphasis on the development of the demand for such technologies. I would like to seem a more systems-based approach to environmental policy using "life-cycle" thinking where great importance is attached to the innovation and development of environmentally benign technologies. I firmly believe that environmental technologies properly resourced and encouraged have great employment and growth potential."@en1
