It will therefore address both the environmental concerns specifically on the birds in question as well as the broader issue of environmental conservation. The latter is an issue that should be very close to our hearts, in terms of the benefits that individual Member States can derive from their environment and, politically, in terms of the legacy of protection that we will pass on to future generations."@en1
