"Madam President, on a point of order on which I would appreciate your advice, I was told a moment ago by sessional services that this question has been withdrawn, but I understand that normally every MEP has access to the full list of questions. Every MEP has the right to ask a supplementary question, and yet there seems to be no obligation on the person withdrawing the question to tell all the other Members that he has done so. So those of us who have come to ask a supplementary question are being denied our democratic right. If that really is the case, would you not agree that the rules need to be reviewed? Alternatively, can I ask a supplementary question to Mr Newton Dunn’s question? Clearly it is a crime that I cannot ask a supplementary question, and it has clearly been organised by the Socialists!"@en1
