"To follow up on Mr Newton Dunn’s question, it seems clear to me that the public are now well aware that criminal activity is international and that criminals move freely across EU frontiers. What they are not so aware of is the coordination that takes place to try and counteract that. I therefore urge the Commission to look into bringing the different information together on a regular basis, whether through Europol, Schengen, or the chiefs of police; and look into making public what can be safely be made public, in order to demonstrate that we are acting as a Community to tackle international crime."@en1
