We are nonetheless of the view that the HIV/AIDS issue should not be handled within the framework of EU cooperation. We believe that the fight against HIV/AIDS should be conducted by individual EU Member States, as well as within the framework of the World Health Organisation (or WHO). The June List aims at limited EU cooperation.
