"Mr President, I would like to remind the House that next week, from 17 to 24 October, is One World Week. This is an opportunity for us all to take action and to do something about poverty and injustice in the world. One practical way in which we can help is by buying Fair Trade products. Parliament has started to buy Fair Trade products. In Strasbourg we now receive Fair Trade tea, though in Brussels we still get Liptons tea. Perhaps the Quaestors could take up this issue of why we are getting Fair Trade tea in one case but not in another, and consider what more we can do in this House with regard to buying Fair Trade produce. It would set a good example to other public administrations. I hope that you will support this initiative."@en1
