However, the wording is too specific. I suggest an alternative that reads: 'Insists that, to promote the consumption of environmentally friendly products, the Commission encourage Member States to consider various incentives, such as reduced taxes, rebates, etc.' I understand that my colleagues who originally tabled the amendment accept this."@en¹
