". On the matter of liaison officers, I agree with the Member that there is no point in people being posted individually. There must be some form of coordination and certainly some form of exchange of information at a very basic level. I refer the Member to what I said in my previous response, which was that the resolution envisages the setting-up of a coordination mechanism among liaison officers to ensure a constant exchange of information. The point that the Member has put his finger on is absolutely correct: there is no point in intelligence gathering if the information is not shared. This is a new departure. We are at the point of establishing this coordination mechanism. I am sure that the Member's observations will be helpful in that specific regard."@en1
