lpv:spoken text	"I believe the Council is wrong here. The Nice Treaty laid down provisions that followed on from the time the Council took action against Austria for breaching fundamental rights. France is clearly breaching national fundamental rights here. There is now provision in the Nice Treaty for action to be taken against France. I believe that there is an obligation on the Council and the European Union as a whole to ensure that France respects fundamental rights. Clearly that is not being done in this case."@en¹
