lpv:translated text	"I have supported, and voted in favour of, this report which acknowledges the efforts made by a number of European states to ensure that Europe now has policies concerned with space. The results obtained are impressive. For all that, if, now, there is a desire to avoid serious difficulties and a situation in which, in the end, only the law of the strongest continues to apply, rapid progress needs to be made towards a controlled communitisation, as is being done in the field of research. It is not a question of ‘doing in place of’, but of enabling European added value to be brought to bear. Space will be ever more present in all aspects of people’s daily lives. Europe needs to be in space. Space will always be an engine of industrial innovation. Europe’s industrial future also depends, therefore, upon our investment in space. Those are just a few of the reasons why I have supported this report and voted in favour of it."@en1
