For these reasons, I fully support this proposal for a Parliament and Council directive. It aims to broaden the scope of the harmonised requirements relating to speed limitation devices or similar speed limitation on-board systems for all motor vehicles of categories M2 and M3 designed for transporting passengers. This will help make the road system safer and more sustainable, which is crucial to the execution of future transport policy."@en1
